Work Experience
Rhotochia Atkins-Jones’ vast work experience has exposed her to people from all walks of life. For 20 years, she has served as an executive administrative assistant in the New York City Police Department.
She has worked in institutions like the New York City’s Department of Education, Charter Schools, Faith-Based Ministries, and Women in Domestic Violence & Rape Crisis Intervention Respite Programs.
In 2016, she became an official member of the John Maxwell Team. Her training from the organization has helped her become the trusted and experienced coach that she is today.
Turning Adversities Into Opportunities
Rhotochia considers working with women experiencing domestic violence a life-changing event in her career. She used this opportunity to help victims find their voice and strength to recover from their unwanted experiences. Through her coaching services, she has helped various survivors grow and get back on their feet.
Empowering the Youth
Rhotochia has also worked with youth organizations to help teens develop leadership values at a young age. She conducts DISC assessments and teen leadership games—activities that aim to engage and promote active listening and communication skills of all participants.
